Paul Kreuter is a Chicago-based Director of Photography with a background that spans motion design, editorial, and photography. His journey into the world of visual storytelling began through the advertising industry at Leo Burnett, where he started his career as a Motion Designer.

As his career evolved, Paul transitioned into a Senior Editor, where he learned the importance of composition, pacing, and emotion—skills that would later become foundational to his approach behind the camera. That insight naturally led him toward the world of production—where he found a new creative passion behind the lens.

Paul brings a multidimensional perspective to every project he takes on. Whether shooting commercials, branded content, documentaries, or corporate videos, he approaches each production with a balance of creative vision and technical precision. His background in post-production and design allows him to anticipate how a shot will live in the final edit, crafting images that are not only beautiful but purposeful.
